McGee Eye Institute hires official
The Dean McGee Eye Institute has appointed Garyl Geist as its new executive vice president and chief operating officer. Geist is currently chief operating officer of the Oklahoma Allergy and Asthma Clinic and will join the Eye Institute in February. Geist served as president and chief executive officer of Valir Health LLC before joining the Oklahoma Allergy and Asthma Clinic. Geist earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from East Central University in Ada and a master’s degree in accountancy from the University of Oklahoma. He lives in Norman with his wife and four children.
