How to Apply

We accept applications exclusively through the Central Application Service (CAS) of the Ophthalmology Matching Program. No additional materials are required to apply. Our match identification number is 3395. The program requires that residents must have satisfactorily completed a PGY-1 program approved by the ACGME. PGY1 training in internal medicine, general surgery, OB/GYN, pediatrics, or a transitional year are acceptable. The University of Oklahoma requires that foreign medical graduates pass the USMLE and have a valid ECFMG certificate. The University only sponsors J-1 visas.

The application deadline for the residency program is October 1st.
