Class to Focus on Eye Health

The Q.B. Boydstun Public Library and the Oklahoma Healthy Aging Initiative (OHAI) Northeast Center of Healthy Aging will be providing an Eye Ball 101 Class at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Q.B. Boydstun Public Library, 201 E. South Ave., Fort Gibson.

Eye Ball 101 is a one-hour overview of eye health, focusing on the symptoms and treatment options of four main medical conditions that affect eyesight among older adults. The presentation is designed to benefit all older adults and their caregivers and is delivered without heavy medical jargon.

Eye Ball 101 is a program developed in partnership with the Dean McGee Eye Institute on the University of Oklahoma Health Science Campus.
