Dean McGee Eye Institute Announces Appointment of Optometrist/Contact Lens Specialist
OKLAHOMA CITY— The Dean McGee Eye Institute (DMEI) announced the appointment of optometrist and contact lens specialist Dr. Rosita Ghazanfari, who is now seeing patients at the Institute’s Oklahoma Health Center facility in Oklahoma City and at its Edmond location. She is a clinical instructor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.
Dr. Ghazanfari began her educational career at the University of Oklahoma, earning her bachelor’s degree in Zoology and Biomedical Sciences. Her graduate work took her to Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Doctor of Optometry degree.
She subsequently completed rigorous training in specialty contact lens fitting at the State University of New York (SUNY) University Eye Clinic in New York City, which also included clinical experience at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, before joining the Dean McGee Eye Institute.
Dr. Ghazanfari offers a comprehensive optometry and contact lens practice in the Institute’s central location at 608 Stanton L. Young Boulevard in Oklahoma City and in Edmond at 1005 Medical Park Boulevard.
