Bio
Dr. Bugg grew up in Norman, Oklahoma, where she attended the University of Oklahoma (OU) and graduated with special distinction with a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering. Her undergraduate honors included recognition as the “Freda Guild Outstanding Female in Chemical Engineering” and the Letzeiser Honor List, which is comprised of the 20 most outstanding graduating OU seniors. She then completed medical school at the OU College of Medicine, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Bugg also completed her internship year in internal medicine at OU. In 2019, Dr. Bugg was nominated by third-year OU medical students for the Aesculapian Resident Teaching Award. She served as chief resident during the 2020-2021 academic year.
She most enjoys spending time with her husband, Blake, who is an attorney landman in Oklahoma City, and their two sons. During her free time, she also enjoys reading and travel.
