Dr. Lim grew up in Ohio and attended medical school at Northeast Ohio Medical University. She completed ophthalmology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine, followed by a Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus fellowship at Duke University. Dr. Lim’s very first ophthalmology rotation as a medical student was with a pediatric ophthalmologist and she enjoyed seeing children in the clinic. In practice, Dr. Lim has an opportunity to interact with children every day, build long-lasting relationships with her patients and their families, and treat conditions that can be managed medically and surgically. Dr. Lim chose to practice at DMEI because of the dedication to providing good patient care in addition to the “family feel” of the department.
Outside of work, Dr. Lim is involved in LOYAL, Leadership OKC’s young professional organization. She enjoys traveling, reading fiction, crafting, and practicing yoga.
