Expert Explains Steps You Should Take To Avoid Getting Sunburned Eyes

When it comes to protecting yourself from the sun, the first thing that comes to mind is sunscreen. But, it’s not just your skin that’s at risk from the sun.

“It’s not well known. Yeah, you can sunburn your eyes,” said Dr. David Jackson, of the Dean McGee Eye Institute. Jackson told KOCO 5 it doesn’t take long. He also said sunburning your eyes can happen in the summer or even in the snow.
